The first “Chalet Group Chatel” slalom competition took place last Saturday on the Linga Staduim. This event is held weekly (weather dependant) for all guests staying in Chatel at a “Chalet Group Chatel” chalet!

Final positions for each race during the season will be published regulaly on www.chaletgroupchatel.com

After 2-3 weeks of very cold sunny weather fresh snow has fallen in Chatel. The conditions through January have been superb although there were a few icy patches starting to appear so the fresh snow is very welcome. More forecast later this week and early next week.

This summer see’s the launch of the “Multi Pass Portes Du Soleil”. It is no understatement to say that this is a fantastic idea and will benefit everyone that visits Chatel and the Portes du Soleil this summer. For guests staying in participating chalets and hotels they will have unlimited use of all the chair lifts and telecabines in Chatel and around the Portes du Soleil during their stay. In addition they will also be able to use the outdoor tennins courts, swimming pools, indoor ice rinks and tourists trains as much as they like.

All this for only 1€ per person per day!

After the huge snowfalls in December we have now had a few days of continuous cold and sunny weather. This is set to continue for at least another week. The benefit of the cold weather is that although it has not snowed for a while to condition of the snow on the pistes is still superb. Some fresh powder to play in would be nice but as long as it continues to be cold, this sunshine is great!
