Ski Hire, Lift Passes & Lessons
When staying in any of our chalets in Chatel we pre book all your lift passes, equipment hire and lessons to be sure you make the right choice and get the most out of your ski holiday. A few weeks before your holiday we will contact you to discuss your requirements. Payment is not required until you arrive in Chatel.
When reserving equipment, lift passes and ski schools with us, we will ensure you not only get the best service and equipment but you will also benefit from any discounts that we have negotiated.
Lift PassesThere is a wide range of lift passes available for both the Chatel and the Portes Du Soleil area. For beginners we recommend the Chatel lift pass and for those who are more experienced the Portes du Soleil pass covers every lift in the whole Portes Du Soleil area.
Your lift pass will be “hands free” , these are great and mean as you use the various lifts your pass can remain safely in your pocket at all times.
Lift Pass Discounts - There are good discounts for children, teenagers and seniors and up to 15% discount for certain weeks in December and April. We also offer a family lift pass for either Chatel or the Portes du Soleil saving you 10% on the normal price, please contact us for details.
Important Note - 2011/12 lift pass prices have increased by 1.5% from those previously published due to a VAT increase in France.

Equipment Hire - Vertical Horizons
This is a vital part of your holiday and therefore we ensure you get the very best equipment and service but also at a very competitive price. We will pre-book all your skis, boots and snowboards. Its possible to rent equipment for any number of days (excluding 6 Day Promo) and also skis only if you have your own boots.

Ski & Snowboard LessonsWe can pre-book both skiing and boarding lessons for you using our local English speaking ski school or private instructors. You can choose from a full week's course, learning in a group of a similar ability, or you may prefer lessons either individual one-to-one or in a small family group.
Private Lessons - Mountain SafariThe advantage of private lessons is quality and flexibility. It is possible to book a 2 hour one to one lesson or a private mini group of up to 6 people and anything in between. All of our instructors are fully qualified and speak good English. Typical private lesson prices below.

Ski School - ESI Pro Skiing ChatelSki School is a great way to learn particularly for adult beginners and children. The ski school has around 19 bilingual instructors and has group sizes of just 6 - 10 people. They offer a number of different courses and run groups for Beginners, Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3
