The Chalet This modern ski chalet in Chatel combines traditional style with the highest standards of comfort and facilities with a stunning open plan living and dining area. After a day's activities on the Portes du Soleil slopes, relax on a comfy sofa in front of the log fire or step out onto the large balcony from where you can take in some of the best views that Chatel has to offer.
The sauna is the perfect place to take time out before dinner and new for winter 08/09 an outdoor hot tub. The sauna and hot tub are available to use all year round. The chalet has a fully equipped ski and boot room which will ensure that not only is your equipment safe but you will start the day with dry clothes and warm boots. For a small additional cost (see below) we also offer the facility of an in house massage during your holiday.
A relaxing massage back and/or leg massage - In order to sooth muscular tensions and recover so that you are ready for a new day. 30 euros / 25 minuites
The Californian massage - Essential oil massage characterized by long fluid movements over the whole body. It provides a real feeling of wellness and conciliates body, mind and emotions. 50 euros / 60 minuites
For the convenience and comfort of all our guests the chalet is strictly no smoking. The chalet is a shoe free zone in the winter and therefore we suggest that you bring slippers or soft shoes. The chalet also has tea and coffee making facilities, TV and DVD player.
Bedrooms
The ski chalet has 1 double, 4 twin and 1 triple bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. All bedrooms are decorated to a high standard in traditional style. Rooms 1 - 4 are on the first floor and rooms 5 & 6 are on the ground floor. All bedrooms have en suite shower / bathrooms and toilets with the exception of rooms 3 & 4 which share a large bathroom and toilet.
The Cuisine
Chalet “Les 2 Vallées” is a luxury fully catered ski chalet. Start the day with a choice from a range of fruit juices, tea and coffee, cereals, fresh croissants and French bread with jams. Cooked breakfast is available on 2 mornings during the week.
For lunch we can recommend many of the great restaurants either on the mountain or in the village. On your return from the slopes you can look forward to tea and freshly made home baked cakes and biscuits which will be waiting for you in front of the log fire.
Then later, enjoy a pre dinner drink as you gather with your fellow guests to discuss the day's events. This will be followed by a delicious 4 course dinner accompanied by unlimited fine wine and coffee to round off the evening.
Dinner is served 6 nights of the week, giving you a night to sample one of the many excellent restaurants in Chatel. For the comfort of all guests we will serve high tea for all children under the age of 12 years at 6pm.
