The ChaletIn traditional alpine style our luxury ski chalet, Chalet des Arbres, is comfortable and inviting. The living area, with its raised open fire and comfy sofas, is the ideal place to relax and wind down after a day's winter activities. Alternatively, you can step through the large French doors and enjoy the beautiful views of Chatel from the balcony and terrace. In the dining area the refectory style table is where you will enjoy our superb cuisine and the opportunity to get to know your fellow guests.
The Sauna and Hot Tub are available to use all year round and our fully equipped ski and boot room will ensure that not only is your equipment safe but you will start the day with dry clothes and pre warmed boots. For a small additional cost (see below) we also offer the facility of an in house massage during your holiday.
A relaxing massage back and/or leg massage - In order to sooth muscular tensions and recover so that you are ready for a new day. 30 euros / 25 minuites
The Californian massage - Essential oil massage characterized by long fluid movements over the whole body. It provides a real feeling of wellness and conciliates body, mind and emotions. 50 euros / 60 minuites
For the convenience and comfort of all our guests the chalet is strictly no smoking. Chalet des Arbres is a shoe free zone in the winter: we provide slippers for all our guests, however you are welcome to bring your own slippers or soft shoes if you prefer. The chalet also has tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi internet access.
BedroomsThe 4 bedrooms are decorated in traditional style and all with en suite or private bathrooms. Those essential luxuries of complimentary bath robes, toiletries, slippers and hairdryers are provided for you. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are on the first floor, room 4 is situated on the ground floor.
Bedroom 1 (sleeps 4) is a family room with a large private bathroom and balcony with stunning views along the valley. There are twin beds and 1 bunk.
Bedroom 2 (sleeps 3) is a family room with en suite bathroom and balcony with stunning views along the valley. There are twin beds and 1 single.
Bedroom 3 (sleeps 2) is a double room with en suite.
Bedroom 4 (sleeps 2) is a twin room on the ground floor with en suite.
The Cuisine
Chalet des Arbres is a luxury fully catered ski chalet. During the winter season we aim to make your holiday a gastronomic delight. Start the day with a choice from a range of fruit juices, tea and coffee, cereals, fresh croissants and French bread with jams. We offer cooked breakfast twice a week.
For lunch we can recommend many of the great restaurants either on the mountain or in the village. On your return from the Portes du Soleil slopes you can look forward to tea and freshly made home baked cakes and biscuits which will be waiting for you in front of the log fire.
Then later, enjoy a pre dinner drink as you gather with your fellow guests to discuss the day's events. This will be followed by a delicious 4 course dinner accompanied by unlimited fine wine and coffee to round off the evening.
Dinner is served 6 nights of the week, giving you a night to sample one of the many excellent restaurants in the village. For the comfort of all guests we will serve high tea for all children under the age of 12 years at 6pm.
